  • A charcoal drawing of a woman with a bob, eyes lowered
  • A desk mid-make: yellow and blue printed cards cut into pieces, a scalpel, a steel ruler and offcuts of paper

I’m Zahra, a product designer at Cafe Bazaar, based in Iran. I came to product design through painting, illustration and visual design, and have a master’s in Sequential Design from the University of Brighton.

I care about the details, from the layout of a screen to how it responds to a tap. I also like stepping back to see how a service works as a whole, and where it could save people and businesses time.

I think decisions through with engineers and stay involved through the build. Lately I’ve been using AI to prototype ideas faster, and this site is one result of that.

    Placeholder – Now

    Design System Manager

Turned a seven-year-old, unowned UI kit into a tokenised library with real Figma-to-code parity, then took ownership of it — promoted from Product Designer mid-build.

    Product Designer

Designed across the marketplace and the video service — app detail, checkout and the Video Detail restructure — shipping against the design system while it was being rebuilt underneath.
